Julius Jessup Peterson (he/his/him) is a psychotherapist based in Decatur, Georgia. Julius believes that everyone is responsible for their own freedom, and has the capacity inside themselves to work towards their own freedom.

Julius specializes in helping individuals build and develop their internal resources, draw from their strengths, and build new skills that will allow them to live as a free person. He believes everyone has the strength within themselves to heal with the proper education, treatment options, and practical skills.

Julius has over 10 years of experience assisting women and men through crisis. Julius uses a variety of healing and therapeutic modalities, which you can learn about here.

Julius is trained in pastoral care, religious and spirituality related therapeutic needs.

Julius has degrees from Emory University (B.A. and MDiv.) and Case Western Reserve University, Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences (LCSW).
